Tory L. McJunkin, MD

With board certifications in anesthesiology, interventional pain, and functional medicine, Dr. McJunkin brings a comprehensive skill set to our team.
Having received training from the foremost experts in the field, Dr. McJunkin’s expertise is recognized nationally. He has not only completed his interventional fellowship at one of the highest-rated programs in the country but also served on the faculty at Mayo Clinic. Subsequently, he launched a thriving practice that expanded across Arizona, Texas, Nevada, and Colorado. Since 2007, Dr. McJunkin has emerged as a renowned expert in neuromodulation, specializing in spinal cord stimulation, peripheral neurostimulation, and sacral neuromodulation. Witnessing tears of joy and life-changing transformations in his bladder and bowel patients, he became motivated to establish the first of many Bladder Centers of America.
Dr. McJunkin possesses specialized expertise in ultra-minimally invasive procedures and has imparted his knowledge to over a thousand physicians through teaching and lecturing engagements. His commitment to advancing medicine is evident through his authorship of over fifty-five peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters. Furthermore, he has made significant contributions as an investigator in more than twenty-five clinical trials. Dr. McJunkin holds several patents for minimally invasive spine-based procedures. He is also the author and editor of “Sacral Neuromodulation for the Treatment of Bladder and Bowel Dysfunction” textbook.
With a wealth of experience and an impressive list of accolades, including the Patient’s Choice Award, Compassionate Doctor Award, Top Doctor Award, the Great Doctor’s List, Thought Leader Award, Top 10 Doctor Award, Leading Physicians of the World, and Global Who’s Who in Medicine, Dr. McJunkin is a highly regarded and esteemed physician and holds faculty positions at the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona, Creighton University, and Kirksville College.
